Low Temp Coefficient SmCo Magnets

Low reversible temperature coefficient (RTC) SmCo magnets have been developed, providing near constant magnetic field over a temperature range. These SmCo magnets have better reversible temperature coefficient of Br [α(Br): +0.01 to -0.02%/°C] than those of regular SmCo magnets [α(Br): -0.03 to -0.05%/°C]. They are also called temperature compensated SmCo magnets.

[1] Typical reversible temperature coefficient (RTC) of Br [α(Br)] between 20 and 150 °C (68-302 °F).
[2] Maximum operating temperature is strongly related to the load line/Pc (permeance coefficient) and operating environment of a SmCo magnet.
